Freeport Water Taxi & Tours

We took a 2 hour private tour with Freeport Water Taxi. They were great! They picked us up and dropped us off in Point Lookout. The owner's daughter Emily pointed out interesting birds, bay houses and adapted the trip to our interests. They were very nice to our kids, and mindful of going through strong wakes for the seasick-prone. The boat had room for sun, but also a lot of shade.

Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...recently did a sunset cruise with Freeport Water Taxi & Tours with my sorority sisters. I highly recommend this adventure with anyone who is looking for a nice date night or with a group. This is not a large boat so don't expect this yacht to appear. The staff are the most friendliest people with great customer service. We were running late and while they run strictly on time, they were very accommodating to work with us and our group. We had two individuals who use canes and they took their time to assist us getting them on the ship. The cruise is about 1.5 hours and is pretty smooth. There was some wind so it was a little rocky at one point but it was just when we were about to turn around. The entertainment on the ship is excellent. Christian is absolutely amazing on the steel pans and is a great addition to the cruise. You should definitely check this out!

Husband and I did the Sunset cruise. Website stated Calypso music was going to be played on the boat but there was a man just playing a guitar singing random songs by Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Diamond, etc. It was o.k. but we were looking forward to the Calypso/Carribean music. Also, at least one drink should be included in the price, then pay if you want another drink or 2.

It was a great relaxing ride, the views were amazing. The live music was a bonus we had fun singing along!

A great way to spend an hour on the water with friends and family. The family that runs this boat tour is super nice even lending us sunscreen for our grandkids when we forgot to pack it. You can buy cocktails on board and relax and learn a little about the sea marsh that helps protect Long Island's South Shore. Make your reservations in advance.

3 of my girlfriends and I went on the Sunday sunset cruise and it was such a good time! Boat was fun and the staff was friendly... it was such a beautiful sunset; definitely would like to do this again towards the end of summer.

Went out this past Saturday for a 30th birthday celebration,
though the weather was iffy we kept in touch with captain Rick and did go out. We had a wonderful time and Rick and Jordan were really amazing. I would recommend this tour to anyone its the second time we have gone out and it is also really reasonable. It made for a very special day.

As my friend and I were walking we noticed two girls selling tickets for the Sunset cruise and we decided to buy tickets. This boat is not fancy and a bit plain but the crew was super nice and knowledgeable. The boat goes and the scenery its pretty. I found it a bit expensive for the experience but I'm glad we did it.

Capt Rick and crew created a beautiful informative cruise in Jones Beach inlet, fun was had by all, recommended highly!
